Numeon

How Numeon Created a Brand That Stands Out

Hey, it's Mojo!

Yeah, that little creature hanging around everywhere on the Numeon site. I'm half mascot, half rebel spirit, and 100% living proof that Numeon doesn't do things like everyone else.

If you're wondering "why would a digital agency need a talking mascot?", you're already starting to understand our branding approach.

(Spoiler: we leave generic corporate mascots to banks trying to look "cool".)

When the agency became its own client

One day, the Numeon humans had this weird revelation: they spent their time creating explosive brand identities for their clients, but their own branding looked like... well, nothing special.

Classic cobbler's children syndrome. (Translation for non-bilinguals: "Do as I say, not as I do.")

So they asked themselves THE question that changes everything:

"What if we treated ourselves like our most audacious client?"

Operation "Make some noise (with style)"

The team locked themselves in a room with lots (lots) of coffee and launched into a limitless branding workshop. Objective: create an identity that:

  • Turns heads without giving you whiplash
  • Breathes humanity in an ocean of corporate robots
  • Proves you can be serious without being boring
  • Makes you want to say "I want the same thing"

And then... I was born! Me, Mojo, the perfect embodiment of the Numeon spirit: a bit wild, very expressive, who doesn't follow rules because, frankly, most rules are boring.

What we created (and no, it wasn't just me)

A logo that makes an impact without trying too hard (and looks like me, pure coincidence)

You know that person who walks into a room and everyone turns around? That's exactly our logo. No complicated stuff, just enough character to be memorable.

Fun fact: the team confessed they were "inspired" by my gorgeous face (their words, I swear) when designing it.

The kind of logo that ages well and won't embarrass you in 5 years when you look at old business cards. It's like wearing perfectly cut jeans: looks simple, but it's actually disguised genius.

(And it happens to make me look good, but that's just a bonus.)

Colors that wake you up without burning your retina

We wanted colors that pop.

Our palette is like a good cocktail: punchy enough to wake you up, balanced enough not to give you a headache. Each shade was chosen to create that "we're serious but we have fun" vibe, that "professional but not uptight" energy.

Result? Colors that work just as well on a presentation deck as on an Instagram post. Because yes, you can be versatile without being bland.

My illustrated playground (where I defy the laws of physics)

Welcome to my universe! Here, I surf digital waves, drive flying cars, and sometimes do levitating yoga. Why? Because it's possible and way more fun.

This illustration universe is my creative freedom zone. I embody the Numeon spirit: bold, a bit quirky, but always with purpose. Each illustration tells a story, adds emotion, breaks the ice.

It's like having a sidekick in every communication, except that sidekick is me and I'm frankly adorable.

  • A logo that stands out without trying too hard (like that cool person who doesn't need to shout to get noticed)
  • A color palette that catches your eye without tearing it out
  • An illustration universe where I live my best life, sometimes defying gravity
  • Typography that says "we're pros" but also "we know how to party"
  • A tone of voice that speaks like a human, not like a press release
  • A brand book that's not just a PDF we send and forget

Basically, we created a world you want to enter, not just a collection of graphic rules.

The results (or: why I now have an oversized ego)

The agency humans were nervous. "What if people find us too... too?" (I told them that was literally the point, but well, humans...)

What actually happened:

  • Aligned clients started flowing in ("Finally an agency that understands what I want!")
  • Qualified leads increased (goodbye requests for "a cheap little logo")
  • Our Instagram gained engagement (because, apparently, people prefer seeing my face over inspirational quotes on pastel backgrounds)
  • Brand consistency naturally established itself (even new team members "catch" the Numeon tone within days)

The craziest thing? Clients started asking: "Can we have our own Mojo?"

(The answer is no. I'm unique. But we can create something just as powerful for your brand.)

The lesson you should take from this

If you've made it this far, it's because:

  1. My mascot story intrigues you (normal)
  2. You wonder if your brand could have this kind of impact

Here's what I learned by watching Numeon create dozens of brands that make their mark:

  • Boldness pays. But boldness without strategy is just noise.
  • Your branding should look like you. Not your competitors. Not what you think others expect.
  • A strong brand attracts AND repels. That's exactly what you want.
  • Emotion > Perfection. People remember how you made them feel, not your 37th presentation slide.

You too deserve your own Mojo

Does your brand need a boost? An identity that turns heads? A universe where your clients want to settle in and order a drink?

Book a call with the Numeon humans.

I probably won't be online (I have a busy mascot schedule), but the team is almost as cool as me.

P.S. If you're wondering whether bold branding would work for your "serious" business, remember that even banks are trying to have mascots now. Except theirs are generic and mine... well, you see the difference.
